I had a great presentation at Planet K. I was meant to come here tonight. That guy just wouldn't stop listening to me. He'll be talking to his friends.
I was just asking random people coming out of PK, "Smoke a brother out?" Floyd and Rain took me to their apartment to smoke.
1:13am I just took a shot of peyote. Where did ya'll get that from? The peyote? Some Native American guy he met at Taco Land. He gave him a big jug and I just took a shot of it.
2:34am I'm about to leave Rain and Floyd's apartment. He said, "Hold on, man." He pulled out six dollars and gave it to me and said, "Here man, if you're going to get marijuana legalized." I appreciate it, brother.
2:35am I'm leaving Floyd and Rain's. I got bored there. Now, I'm going to walk to the Jim's on Fredericksburg and bum cigarettes and tell my story. That dude gave me six dolllars! I can eat something at Jim's. That's awesome.
This place is Vista Del Rey apartments, where that guy Floyd lives.
3:20am I walked on the access road on 410 all the way past where they got the Chopstix and Walmart and Movies 16. I think it's called Loughman's Village. I'm walking to the Jim's on 410 and Fredericksburg. It's a long walk.
I took a left on Callaghan. I'm going to walk Callaghan all the way to Fredericksburg. I'll be close by there.
3:23am Now passing Babcock.
3:35am Passing Edgevale Street. The entrance to Oak Hills neighborhood.
3:44am I forgot to tell you. I'm already at Fredericksburg.
3:57am I got to Jim's. I'm going to eat something.
4:03am I came in. I had six dollars on me. The waitress told me to give her a minute. The lady who's hooked me up before asked me, "Oh, did she bring you coffee?" I told her, No, I didn't want any, but now that you mention it coffee would be good." She got me a coffee! I told her, "Hey, I only have six dollars and I want the Frontier Burger that's $5.99 before tax. She tells me, "Don't worry about it. I'll make up the difference."
4:57am I had me a good presentation here at Jim's. She listened to me a lot. All the way through. Well, not all the way, she had to go to work. Anyway, I am hard at work.
Ha, Kassie doesn't think I do anything.
I am just practicing what I preach, damnit.
5:23pm I am leaving Jim's. I'm going to go to the bus stop.
5:37pm The driver is hooking me up with a ride to the hospital. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit.
5:50pm It was cool that the driver gave me a courtesy ride. He was all asking me, "Why do you gotta go there?" I told him, "I'm trying to get closer to home." I tried to see what the letter of the day was on the transfers. He asked me, "Where are trying to go?" I told him over by Tezel and Guilbeau. He asked me, "Are you on a quest?" I told him, "Well, a mission per se." He handed me another transfer!
I'm doing something right. I know I am doing something right here.
Letter of the day is P for Paul.
6:26pm Got off the 610 over by my mom's house. I'm going to walk home and crash out.
6:41pm I'm at my mom's house already.
3:04pm I am leaving my mom's house. I put the email I wrote Kassie on disk and I'm going to put it in my bag. I need a place to get online and email it to her.
3:26pm I'm going to go to this restaurant here, Tropiko and ask for some gasoline for my stomach. Over here by my mom's house. Tezel and Guilbeau.
3:27pm Sal is hooking me up with some gasoline for my stomach. I appreciate it, brother.
Sweet, scored a couple tacos at the Mexican place. I called that shit.
3:56pm I came over to the bus stop by the Tropiko. I'm going to wait for the bus. They guy gave me two fat tacos. I'm going to wait for the bus and offer a taco for a courtesy ride.
4:00pm I got on asked the driver, "Hey, I'll trade you a nice fat taco for a courtesy ride." He told me, "Nope." But, he shut the door and kept moving. He says, "No trades on that. Nobody rides for free." Hehe, I just sat down and he just kept going. His number is 2957.
4:32pm Mark hooked me up with a cigarette. I even offered him my taco and he wouldn't take it.
The driver hooked me up with a ride. I appreciate it, brother.
4:44pm I got off at the library. I'm going to email Kassie.
6:29pm I am leaving the library. I was able to email Kassie. They wouldn't let me on the A drive on the computers. I went through Microsoft Word and hooked it up through there. File/Open.
6:35pm I'm at Travis Park now.
6:48pm Raul hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother.
6:57pm The Mobile Loaves and Fishes are feeding people in the park today.
7:32pm This dude I met in front of the Labor Ready place won't give me a cigarette. That guy told me, "I remember you. You were at Labor Ready hanging out a while back." When I had first come back to San Antonio from my trip, I walked by the Labor Ready and got smoked out(12-26-03, 9:20am).
7:42pm I just had a great presentation with a guy walking down to The Riverwalk. Kenny M. Davis. He agreed with everything I said. When I asked him what would happen if all the world leaders got together and smoked some weed, he said, "Well, there wouldn't be any war." When I had asked him what he thought was the world's greatest problem, he said ignorance right off the bat. I told him, "You hit the nail right on the head."
8:02pm I came over by the 007 bar and told this guy Jesus my story. He offered to buy me a beer. Badass.
8:20pm Jesus brought me over to meet his family. His wife Yolanda and the rest of the family here at the 007 bar. He does some artwork. Stained glass windows and stuff. It's really beautiful stuff. He hooked me up with a picture. Sign it to Victor.
I'm going to call him Wednesday or Thursday and he's going to smoke me out at Woodlawn Lake.
8:50pm Jesus, that guy who bought me a beer, I went outside the bar and smoked a cigarette. His kids came out and asked where did he go. I told him that he was looking for them. They offered me a ride and I came to their house. We're going to smoke some weed now.
9:25pm That's just awesome how I got smoked out. Man, I bet I made them think I was crazy. I just straight out told all those kids, "Hey, if you're not going to listen to me, I have some really important work to do, I am sacrificing having a life to do this, if you guys aren't going to listen to me then I'll walk off try to find some people who will listen to me."
That's so awesome how that just happened like that. I was just walking around downtown. Bam, I end up getting smoked out and up on Fredericksburg and Babcock.
9:38pm James is hooking me up with a cigarette here on Vance Jackson and Fredericksburg. I appreciate it, brother.
9:52pm Oh yeah, I'm going to walk to Sam's. Smoke him out.
10:05pm I just walked over to the corner store by Sam's apartment at Balcones Heights and Fredericksburg. I just walked in one door and out the other. I don't know why.
10:12pm Sam wasn't home. I'm going to walk to the Jim's and see who I can talk to.
10:37pm Chris hooked me up with a cigarette here at Jim's. I appreciate it, brother.
10:40pm Abel is hooking me up with some mushrooms from his Frontier Basket. I appreciate it, brother. Yeah, I'm hungry. I can always eat. I walk for a living.
11:04pm Tracin just hooked me up with more than half of his burger! Yumm. I got me a good twenty mile meal.
11:17pm I saw them reading all these money books. I asked them, "What school do you guys go to?" They told me, "We don't go to school. This is for work." They all work at Citibank, that's hilarious. Haha, impregnating the enemy. I am right underneath their nose.
11:38pm Jason hooked me up with two cigarettes. I appreciate it, brother. He listened to my story.
Oh yeah, I didn't mention it. Earlier I had gone up to this girl and asked her if she was really busy. She goes, "Oh, I've talked to you before."
1:42am I am leaving Jim's. I'm tired. I'm going to see if I can lay down somewhere and actually sleep. I know about a homeless village in the woods behind the plasma place.
2:10am I am back here on a trail. At this little homeless village. I'm going to see if there's anywhere to crash.
