San Antonio, TX

Saturday March 5, 2005

8:10am  I am leaving the house. I'm walking to the bus stop. Man, my mom is dumb. She doesn't appreciate any of the work that I do in her house. Ugh.

8:17am  I was walking down Old Tezel and I just realized I left my water bottle. I'm walking back.

8:24am  I'm walking down Old Tezel again. I've got my water bottle.

8:32am  I've been at the Citgo already.

8:35am  Frank is hooking me up with a cigarette at the Citgo. I appreciate it, Frank. Sweet, he gave me two. Awesome, awesome. I'm going to go to the bus stop now.

9:05am  I had a great presentation on the bus. This guy named Chris. What a great way to start my day.

     9:37am  I'm at Santa Fe.

9:49am  I came to Santa Fe and there's nobody here. It's all raining. This sucks. Oh, there's Fred. I'm going to go talk to Fred.

10:13am  I was just standing around there bored in the drizzle. I really just wanted to smoke somebody out. I mustered up the strength to go knock on Sam's door, hoping I wouldn't wake him and piss him off. He opened the door all chink-eyed from sleeping and I immediately apologized. I told him, "I just wanted to see if you wanted to smoke some weed." He told me, "Oh, I don't think I'm going to smoke anymore." He mumbled, "Do me a favor, I'm busy."

I probably shouldn't go back to Sam's ever again.

10:25am  I started walking down Fredericksburg, towards downtown. Jose me dio un cigaro en Fredericksburg alfrente del Bill Millers.

Oh yeah, I've decided I'm going to walk to Arriba El Norte(1-2-05, 8:15am) and see if they'll hook me up again.

10:50am  The greedy manager told me no. She said, "We've got a lot of customers." I should have told her, "Then you can afford to be generous. It'll come back to you."

10:53am  I walked to Apartments of Northwest on Fredericksburg. I'm going to go look for somebody to tell my story to. I'm going to smoke somebody out. With the five dollars my mom gave me I got a nickel from Fred. See, this morning I told her how I needed to get some new cargo shorts real bad. She gave me a five dollar bill. She also made it a point to mention that she was deducting it from what she was going to pay me for cleaning. Umm, I used the five dollars for weed because I was sure I wasn't going to have to pay for shorts at Texas Thrift Store. I was hoping Olivia would be working and hook me up. My fingers are crossed. Olivia doesn't usually work until after five.

I walked some more and I'm going to hit up the Taqueria Juentitan Jalisco.

It was pretty busy, so I stood there waiting. This girl came up and asked me if I wanted it to go. I asked to speak to the manager. She went around the corner and asked some guy in Spanish(which I understand). I heard the guy tell her to tell me that the owner isn't here. Greedy Mexicans at this taqueria. I'm going to keep walking.

I think I'm going to go to these apartments here, La Bella Apartments and go offer to smoke this one lady out. I've smoked her out before(1-11-04, 1:52pm).

I came to apartment 14 at La Bella and sure enough, the lady recognized me.

I have to make an update. Oh yeah, I went to La Bella Apartments and that girl, Angel was there and she recognized me. She's a stripper and she's going to start dancing again. We got in a big conversation about that. I told her, "I never get laid," and she got this look on her face like, "Hmm." So I started daydreaming about that. We drove to Woodlawn Lake and sat in the parking lot and smoked a lot of weed. She told me, "You were just what I needed, man." Cool, cool. I love making a difference.

I'm going to go downtown now and see what happens there. Angel just dropped me off in front of the Deco District HEB.

Oh yeah, I've got an R transfer and I didn't even have to trim it. Perfect.

1:08pm  I'm talking to the bus driver Mr. Collins on the bus. What's your email? wllcll63@yahoo.com

1:18pm  Mr. Collins hooked me up with a transfer. I appreciate it, bro. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

I just had a great presentation with the bus driver. He listened to everything I said.

2:02pm  I'm going up the elevator in the NIX hospital to use the restroom. Oh yeah, some kid told me that they wanted help doing some labor at the Travis Park Church and that I could get five dollars.

Man, the ladies restroom is locked too. This sucks, damnit. I forgot what other floor the restroom is on.

Anyway, I gotta tell you about Angel. She was just trying to justify dancing telling me that she just gave people something to think about later on for when they got horny. I told her I never got laid and she got this look on her face. She's forty two, I think.

This sucks, none of the restrooms are open.

3:20pm  This greedy ass at Travis Park won't give me a cigarette. He's wearing a San Antonio hat too. He doesn't know who I am, hehe.

3:22pm  I asked this guy who just walked in with his girl, pushing bikes. I asked them, "Can I tell you a really interesting story? I'm not asking for anything. I just want you to listen." He tells me, "No, no, no." I looked him in the eye and asked him, "Have you always been that ignorant? I was just testing you. You failed."

3:37pm  Lorenzo Ramirez hooked me up with a cigarette at Travis Park. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

3:53pm  Franklin Epstien. I'm telling him my story over by the Travis Park Church. fmepstien@gmail.com

I had an awesome presentation with this guy. I had come out of the church to ask if they needed labor. They told me after four. When I walked out I noticed this guy staring at me. He had come out of the church where they just had a big concert or something. Tons of brainwashed money-people. I walked down the sidewalk to the stoplight and I saw that the guy was still looking at me. I then started walking to him. He immediately turned around and started walking the other way, being ignorant. I finally caught up to him and confronted him with, "Can I tell you a really interesting story? I'm not asking for anything. I just want you to listen. I want to tell you what I am doing." He listened to all of it wide-eyed and didn't interrupt one time. He told me good luck and everything.

I came in the church and stood by the steps, waiting to be called to work. This old lady came down the steps, took one look at my walking stick and asked me, "Are you a hiker?" I told her, "Long-distance walker." She came up to me and I told her, "I'm on a mission. I'm going to eliminate money and bring world peace, with the Internet." She said, "Well, that sounds like a pretty idealistic idea." I told her, "Victor Antoniou from San Antonio," and she walked off.

4:05pm  Ken at the Travis Park is giving me some food. I appreciate it, brother. Gasoline for the stomach.

4:42pm  I have to make an update really bad. Earlier some guy I had smoked out one time told me that they needed some labor at the church. Me and two other guys showed up. First I got to eat a little snack and fruit and stuff. Then we went to help this guy Rachman. He seemed like a really smart guy. He was setting up the stage for the church, Travis Park Methodist Church, I think it's called. I was thinking, "Man, I have to tell this guy my story." He was telling everybody what to do and we had to move some stuff for him. He ended up giving me a five dollar bill, which is cool. I'm going to see if I can get a courtesy ride to Balcones.

Oh yeah, since I have five dollars I can go buy my shorts, like I planned. And if Olivia is there I get to keep the five dollars and I can get some more weed!

Some driver told me no. Greedy ass.

5:07pm  I was at the park waiting for a friendly bus and Steven, the bubble boy that I used to work with at Papa John's came up. He let me bum a dollar in case I don't get a courtesy ride. Cool. I appreciate it, Steven.

5:10pm  I'm on my way to the thrift store. It closes at six, so I have to be there before it closes. I can get some shorts. Then I can show my mom, "Hey, I did get shorts with those five dollars." Mission accomplished. And I have some weed.

What's your name? Crystal at the thrift store is hooking me up with a discount on these five dollar shorts. I appreciate it, Crystal.

When I got to the thrift store Olivia wasn't working. This other pretty girl Crystal who I always see there was. I grabbed the shorts and walked to the the register. I asked her, "I don't suppose you can just let me have these?" She told me, "Why?" I told her, "It's not like you guys pay for any of this stuff anyway." She goes, "I can't let you have them, but I can give you a discount." She gave me the shorts for a dollar!

Oh yeah, on the bus over here I ran into Jimmy. The dude I scored a nickel sack off of at the laundromat that one night(1-31-05, 9:22pm). I told him about all my fortune today and that I was on the way to the thrift store. He got off at the thrift store too. He was lugging around a forty ounce of beer and Crystal made him leave it at the front when he came in. Then he came up to me and told me, "I think I'm going to go ask that girl Crystal to dinner." I laughed and told him to go ahead. He finally rounded up the balls to do it. See, right before that I had tried telling Crystal my story. I just got through the mission objectives but she had customers. Jimmy went up to Crystal and asked her, "I don't suppose you would want to go out to dinner with me?" I laughed out loud and said, "Oh, you Casanova. You're a regular Don Juan. I'm going to call you Slick Rick from now on." Crystal laughed out loud, and Jimmy kept asking. Then I said, "What's your sign? Do you come here often?" Crystal was all cracking up. So was Jimmy. Anyway, I went out after that. After Jimmy talked with Crystal he told me that she had told him, "I don't know if I'll go to dinner with you, but I really want to hear your friend's story."

Found another fortune on the ground, "Many a false step was made by standing still."

7:40pm  I just had a great presentation with these three girls on the back of the 610. They were all laughing at me at first. I stood up and asked the first girl if I could tell her my story. She told me, "No, no." Then I stepped up and asked these two black girls there and they told me sure. I blew their minds and when I asked them to tell their friends they told me, "Oh, I will."

Then I realized what I had those four dollars for. I impulsively got off after the bus turned on Guilbeau. I'm going to go to Taco Cabana and buy me some chicken fajita tacos with sour cream for my walk home. I'm hungry. The universe provides.

Manuel hooked me up. I didn't have enough money for my tacos and he let is slide. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

I got my usual at Taco Cabana and I came to the HEB to dig through the ashtrays for an after meal smoke.

8:10pm  I called my mom and told her I was on my way home. She was having this big bible study thing, so I'm probably not going to come home for a while. I'm going to walk to the gas stations and hang out and tell my stories. I've been telling my story all day. It's awesome. On my way to save the world.

8:29pm  Eric hooked me up with a cigarette at the Exxon on Braun/Bandera. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks. Eric's email: epolocek@grandecom.net

8:40pm  Just because I decided to get off the bus and buy some tacos for my walk home, I thought I was going to go up Guilbeau, but I decided to go Braun Road instead. I came to the Exxon and I ran into Matt. He said I talked to a friend of his at OP Schnabel and he had heard about me. I'm telling Matt and Melanie my story. Matt: flipsaari390@aol.com

8:58pm  That dude Matt, the guy I just told my story to, he gave me a ride to the Shell station on 1604/Braun.

                   lzrd33@aol.com

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I came over to the Shell station and Jacob(magicsquee@yahoo.com), my friend hooked me up with a couple hotdogs.

9:50am  I'm walking home right now. I've had a really fun day. It turned out great. I got email addresses up the ass. I have to send a mail pretty soon.

Next day..
